Import/export guidelines

The Tripartite (TPA) agreement for the movement of Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) sport horses between UK/Ireland and France means that movements to FEI competitions in Ireland and France, and back again, are simplified.

Current FEI registered horses taking part in FEI competition in Ireland and France can take advantage of this by applying to an Approved Shipper. These horses will travel using a document called a DOCOM which means that you do not have to obtain a health certificate signed by a vet prior to transit.
