The Agria Ride returns as each entry benefits charity

Thursday, 25 September 2025

The annual Agria Ride is to return on 4-5 of October, combining superb riding with fundraising for three brilliant charities. Agria makes a donation to Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), World Horse Welfare and Retraining of Racehorses (ROR) for every participating horse.

The Agria Ride is a Europe-wide initiative that brings together riders to enjoy their horses with their friends in stunning countryside, supporting wonderful welfare charities in the process.

Places will be available for around 200 riders each day (with staggered start times to avoid any overcrowding on the route) to join the Cotswold Farm Park Agria Ride, which is open to all, not just Agria policyholders.

Riders aged four and above can tackle a route of approximately ten miles (with various optional shortcuts available to cut it to seven) on their own horses, following a marked route that includes a range of optional fences between 20cm and 80cm in height. There are plenty of places to canter, and wonderful views (visit https://cotswoldfarmpark.co.uk/fun-rides-agria/ for more details).

Entry is £26 per adult (£21 for children aged 4-17), though Agria customers receive a 15% discount. Every rider will trigger a donation to be made from Agria to the three charities – so, by taking part, you and your horse will be directly responsible for helping horses in need. Each rider will also receive a rosette, an Agria key ring and hi-vis arm band upon completion, plus free tea, coffee or soft drink. Professional photographs, plus further food options at the on-site Ox Shed restaurant, are available to buy too.

But don’t worry if you can’t make it to the Cotswolds! Besides the in-person ride at Cotswold Farm Park, riders may also take part virtually to generate a donation to be shared across the charities. Every hack that’s logged during the weekend through the free-to-access membership tier on the Ridely app will also trigger a donation to be added to overall donations for Agria Ride.

Agria-sponsored, paralympic dressage medallist, Natasha Baker whose career began with the RDA says:

“I’m so pleased the Agria Ride is returning in 2025. Hacking and fun rides are so enjoyable for horses and riders, and this one is amazing for the way it also supports three vital charities.”

Agria UK’s CEO, Vicki Wentworth, says: “We are thrilled to be organising the Agria Ride once again. That this takes place in the month following the Agria FEI European Championships at Blenheim reinforces the fact that Agria is dedicated to supporting in ALL riders, not just world class combinations, to live their best, most fulfilled lives.

“We’re very proud to be working alongside Agria territories across Europe to raise money for some incredible equine charities, while organising a great ride all will enjoy.”

Adam Henson, owner of Cotswold Farm Park, adds: “We are very much looking forward to hosting the Agria Ride again in October, which will combine our usual brilliant riding with other benefits for participants, and fundraising for three much-loved equestrian charities.”

Speaking from the perspective of the benefitting charities, Michael Bishop, CEO of RDA added: “Our life-changing work cannot thrive without partners like Agria, and vital funding. Our focus is on supporting the unique connection between disabled people and horses and it is wonderful to see this work, and this connection, celebrated through the Agria Ride and the donations made for every rider taking part.”
