Laura had her call-up to the British Pony team back in 2005 with Noble Springbok, where they won team gold and individual bronze. Following this success, she was then selected to represent Britain on the Junior team in 2006 with Fernhill Sox (team gold and individual bronze), then again in 2007, where she brought home double gold with Rayef.
In 2009, Laura won the National Under-21 Championship title and was also selected to represent Britain at Young Rider level, where she earned team and individual gold titles.
After receiving her first senior squad selection in 2011 with Rayef for the FEI European Championships in Luhmühlen, she was selected for Blair European Championships in 2015 with Grand Manoeuvre. She also competed as an individual at the European Championships in Luhmühlen in 2019 with London 52.
A coveted first CCI5* victory came at Pau in 2021 with London 52, followed by the pair heading to Japan for the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games – they came home with team gold. Thoroughly on a roll, this was soon followed by them taking the Badminton Horse Trials title in May of this year.
After just missing out on a team medal at the World Championships in Pratoni in 2022, Laura and London 52 travelled to Luhmühlen in June 2023, where they added another CCI5* title to their collection with a personal best finishing score of 20.3. This was swiftly followed by selection for the FEI Eventing European Championship later that summer, where they helped the team to a gold medal and individual ninth place.
In 2024, Laura and London 52 were selected for Paris 2024, to defend the team gold medal they won for Team GB at the previous Games. During the dressage phase, they smashed the Olympic eventing dressage record – previously 19.2 and held by David O'Connor of the USA – with a score of 17.5. On the final day, they helped Team GB to retain their title, plus picked up an individual bronze – their first individual championship medal.

Dan began his competitive career in Germany as a showjumper. Laura spotted him while on a horse shopping trip in 2016, and immediately got on the phone to persuade Karen Bartlett and Keith Scott – who already had horses with her – to help her buy him. He made his eventing debut at the BE100 at Nunny, where he finished on his sub-30 dressage score – a good indicator of what was to come.
Since making his international debut in 2017, Dan has rarely finished outside the top 10. With Laura, he made his championship debut in 2019 at the European Championship in Luhmühlen, where they unfortunately parted company in the water complex on cross-country day. This was nothing more than a blip on the road to top-level success, though – they now hold three of the top five CCI5* finishing scores, thanks to wins at Les Etoiles du Pau (2020), Badminton (2022) and Luhmühlen (2023), and took home team gold at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and FEI Eventing World Championship in 2023.
Of their four international runs in the build-up to Paris 2024, all at CCI4*-S level, Laura and Dan won at Burnham Market and Bicton, finished fifth at Thoresby Park and were leading the first two phases at Luhmühlen before choosing to withdraw before the showjumping. Once they got to the Games, the pair broke the Olympic eventing dressage record on their way to securing team gold and individual bronze for Team GB.
Laura and Dan have had seven completed runs this season, winning five of them and finishing third in the other two. This includes a run at Luhmühlen CCI5*, where they led the first two phases but knocked a pole in the showjumping to drop down two placings – the only time they haven't won at the top level of the sport.
As a character, Dan is very shy and it took Laura a while to give him the self-confidence needed to unlock his phenomenal talent. Laura describes him as her ‘horse of a lifetime’ and says that she’s ‘the luckiest girl in the world’ to be able to ride him.

Caroline grew up in London as part of a non-horsey family. Her dad sent her and her sister to have riding lessons – although not initially keen, a bit of sibling rivalry meant that Caroline stuck with it until she was eventually bitten by the horsey bug. When she was 10, her family moved to the countryside and she got her first pony.
In her late teens, she based herself with Australian CCI5* winner Sam Griffiths at his Dorset yard, where she stayed for 10 years.
Caroline has ridden at the FEI Eventing Young Horses World Championship at Le Lion d'Angers, most notably finishing fourth with Cooley Mosstown in 2023. She's appeared on a number of FEI Eventing Nations Cup teams, including Boekelo in 2023 and Lignieres in 2024 – Great Britain finished second on both of these occasions.
Currently, she's based at Captain Mark Phillips' Gloucesteshire base with Zara Tindall and Kiwi Clarke Johnstone, where she has her own string of around 18 horses. As an additional sideline alongside eventing, she pre-trains racehorses for trainer Jason Maguire.
Caroline shot to prominence with a stellar 2024 season that saw her win the CCI3*-S at Thoresby, CCI4*-S at Lignieres and Mallow, and finish the season with a fantastic win at Pau CCI5* in incredibly wet conditions.
This season, she ticked another box off her career card with a spot on the team that head to the Nations Cup at CHIO Aachen, where she finished seventh with D. Day.

This will be Caroline's senior championship debut.
D. Day was bred by Fiona Olivier, has retains a part-ownership in him, as a happy hacker and hunter for her son's girlfriend at the time. After they split up, he made his way to Caroline, who started competing him in 2019. She saw him as a potential Junior or Young Rider horse who she could produce, but D. Day continued to climb up the levels.
They stepped up to CCI4* level in their 2022 season, finishing with a 16th place finish in the eight- and nine-year-old class at Blenheim. The following year, he gave Caroline her first Nations Cup appearance at Boekelo, then returned to Blenheim for a fourth place finish in the eight- and nine-year-olds.
A CCI5* debut came in 2024, when he and Caroline headed to Luhmühlen. Trips to Wellington and Cornbury House followed, before they picked up the win in the Nations Cup class at Lignières. Their final run was the CCI5* at Pau, which turned out to be one of the wettest on record. Despite the mud and heavy rain, they stormed round to take the win in a true underdog story.
D. Day and Caroline have had five runs this season, finishing no less than eighth and securing themselves selection for their championship debut.

Yaz was born and brought up on the Isle of Man, where she spent her formative years as a member of the Isle of Man branch of the Pony Club, competing in many different disciplines. She also competed in working hunter showing classes for a few years, qualifying for the Royal International Horse Show and Horse of the Year Show. She received her first team call-up to compete as an individual in the Pony European Eventing Championships in Fontainebleau in 2012. This was followed by the European Championships in Arezzo, Italy the following year, where Yaz won individual and team gold.
After leaving school at 16, Yaz moved across the water to the mainland to ride for Eddie and Sue Davies and Janette Chinn at the Pewit Stud in Cheshire. Since then, she’s risen through the ranks to become under-18, under-21 and under-25 National Champion. The same year as becoming U21 National Champion, she also finished fourth at the Young Rider European Championships with Rehy DJ – they finished on the same score as the bronze medallist, but missed the podium due to having the slower showjumping time.
Yaz made her CCI5* debut at Pau in 2018 riding Night Line, where they finished 16th. Rehy DJ has his turn at Pau in 2020, but was withdrawn before the second horse inspection. In 2022, Yaz took Banzai du Loir across the pond to Kentucky, where they finished second at the CCI5* behind Germany's Michael Jung and fischerChipmunk.
A senior championship call-up came last year, where Yaz and Banzai du Loir represented Great Britain as individuals at the FEI Eventing World Championship. A foot-perfect performance across the competition saw them once again go toe-to-toe with Michi and Chipmunk in the final phase, but this time it was the young guns who came out on top after the German pair rolled the final fence. At the age of just 25, Yaz had added her name to a list that includes some of the biggest stars in the sport of eventing, including Mary Gordon-Watson, Lucinda Green, Ginny Elliott, Zara Tindall and team mate Ros Canter.
Yaz wasn't done making history, though. She and Banzai headed to CHIO Aachen in June the following year, where they became the first ever Brits to take the CCI4*-S title. This was followed by selection for the FEI Eventing European Championship in Haras du Pin, where they helped the British team to a gold medal.
In 2024, Yaz and Banzai were selected as the travelling reserves for the Team GB eventing team at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Born and raised in Ireland, Piglet started his eventing career with Aoife Quigley, where he competed up to CCI1* level. He joined Yaz's string for the 2017 season as the first horse bought for her by long-time supporters Janette Chinn and the late Sue Davies. They cemented their partnership with a third place finish on their debut at Lincolnshire in the Novice class. Their first season concluded at the CIC2* Young Horse Class at Osberton, where they finished fifth.
In 2018, Piglet took Yaz to her final youth championship, the FEI Eventing Young Rider European Championship at Fontainebleau, where they finished fourth individually and in the team competition. The following year, they had a top-10 finish in the eight- and nine-year-olds class at Blenheim, before heading to the Nations Cup at Boekelo.
Piglet made the step up to CCI5* level at Pau in 2020, but was withdrawn before the second horse in inspection.
In 2022, they were part of the winning team at the CHIO Aachen Nations Cup and finished 12th individually. They also impressed at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup finale at Boekelo, whree they finished fourth.
They returned to CCI5* in 2023, with a superb third place at Luhmühlen on an all-British podium. In the picture of consistency, he and Yaz returned the following year to achieve exactly the same result. After being long-listed for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Piglet finished his 2024 season with a trip back to Pau, where they finished 10th.
This season, Piglet has had six completed runs at national and international level, which includes in win in the Advanced class at Aston-le-Walls in July. Their last run before Blenheim was the OI at Frickley Park in August, where they finished fourth.

Georgina, otherwise known as Piggy, is one of Britain’s leading event riders. Piggy was part of the British squad for the 2010 World Equestrian Games and was an individual silver medallist at the 2009 European Championships.
Piggy took a break from the sport in 2016, becoming a mother to son Max, but returned to competition in 2017 with Quarrycrest Echo – they were selected to compete as individuals at the European Championships in Strzegom that year.
In 2018, Piggy was part of the gold medal-winning team at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, again riding Quarrycrest Echo. The following spring, they travelled to Kentucky to compete in the CCI5*, finishing fourth.
On her 25th attempt at CCI5* level, Piggy secured the Badminton title in 2019 with Vanir Kamira. This was followed by the runner-up spot at Burghley later that season, also with Vanir Kamira. This was the year she also set the record for the highest number of international wins in a single season – an incredible 15 across the levels.
In 2021, Piggy was part of the squad that headed to the FEI Eventing European Championship in Avenches, where she and Brookfield Inocent picked up team gold and individual silver.
Piggy and Vanir Kamira made their return to Badminton in 2022, where they finished fourth. Hungry for an even better result, they set their sights on Burghley at the end of the season – they won, making them part of a very rare club of horses and riders who've won both the Burghley and Badminton titles as a combination.
In 2023, Piggy headed to Pau with Coolparks Sarco, where they finished fourth. The following year saw a win for Halo in the CCI4*-S at Aston-le-Walls and good results at Blair and Frickley Park with her young horses. The season concluded with a win for Halo in the Advanced at Little Downham, followed by a seventh place finish at Pau for the pair at the horse's CCI5* debut.
Piggy has been back to her winning ways in 2025, knotching up 19 wins so far across national and international classes and plenty more podium finishes.
Piggy runs an event yard and stud in Northamptonshire with her husband, Tom March.

Halo is the offspring of a jumping stallion and a mare who is also grandmother to JL Dublin. He was initially competed for three seasons by Kevin McNab of Australia under the name of Scuderia 1918 Humphreys, before being purchased by Jayne McGivern in the winter of 2021. With the new name of Halo, he joined Piggy's string in time for the 2022 season. They picked up four wins in their first season together, culminating in topping the podium in the eight- and nine-year-olds class at Blenheim Palace.
The following year was all about consolidating their partnership and stepping up to CCI4*-L level, although they had sixth place finishes at Millstreet and their happy hunting ground of Blenheim Palace.
After some light stud work in the spring, the now firmly cemented partnership started their 2024 season well with third place at their first events of the season – the OI at Aston-le-Walls in May – before returning to the venue in July to win the CCI4*-S. They won the Advanced at Little Downham in September, before heading to Pau for Halo's CCI5* debut. In incredibly wet conditions, they finished seventh and Piggy knew she had a horse with true star potential.
The pair have had five runs this season across national and international level, and have won three of them. The first win came in the Advanced section at Cirencester Park in April, followed straight after by taking the CCI4*-S title at Belsay the following month. From there, they headed to Luhmühlen – an unfortunate run-out at the water complex added 20 penalties to their score, but they still managed to secure a 18th place finish. Their final run before Blenheim was at Burgham, where they threw down a superb dressage score of 19.8 in the CCI4*-S class and managed not to add anything to it in the jumping phases, handing them the win.

Tom was born into an equestrian family – his mother was a showjumper, while his father and uncle are equine vets. He joined the VWH Pony Club as a child, competing on a number of championship teams in dressage and eventing, before moving on to representing Great Britain in eventing youth teams. Pony team gold came in 2007, followed by two team gold medals at Young Rider level in 2010 and 2011.
Tom was set to make his senior championship debut at the FEI Eventing European Championship in Malmö in 2013, but Diesel sadly failed the first horse inspection. After being short-listed for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, it took another two years before Tom finally secured the coveted team slot – he and Toledo de Kerser got a seat on the plane to the World Equestrian Games in Tryon in 2018, where they helped the team to gold. Tom made his Olympic debut at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in 2021, coming home with team gold and individual silver.
After finishing third at CHIO Aachen in 2022, Tom and Toledo clocked up a second FEI Eventing World Championship in Pratoni del Vivaro in 2022, where they finished in 12th individually and the British team were fourth. This was also the year that Tom began his partnership with former Nicola Wilson ride JL Dublin.
In 2022, Tom and JL Dublin headed across the Atlantic for the CCI5* at Kentucky, where they finished as runners-up behind home favourites Tamie Smith and Mai Baum. This was followed by a call-up for the FEI Eventing European Championship that summer, where they put in a very competitive dressage test but sadly parted company on a tricky cross-country course.
In 2023, Tom has notched up two second placings at CCI5* – one at Kentucky CCI5* with JL Dublin, in a repeat of the previous year, and again at the Luhmühlen CCI5* with CHF Cooliser.
Tom made his second Games appearance when he and JL Dublin were selected to represent Team GB at Paris 2024. They helped the team achieve gold and finished agonisingly close to the individual podium in fourth – the highest-placed pair to finish on their dressage score.
Tom married his long-term partner, Harriet, in 2023 and they saw the arrival of their first child, Dougie, late the following year.

Dubs was born and bred in Germany, where he was found by Nicola Wilson as a four-year-old while she was on a horse-shopping trip with James and Jo Lambert. The Lamberts purchased a half-share in Dubs, with the other half going to Deirdre Johnston, the wife of racehorse trainer Mark Johnston. The JL prefix – which was added because there was already a horse named Dublin registered with British Eventing – stands for Johnston and Lambert.
Dubs started eventing with Nicola in 2016 and notched up three wins at BE100 level in his first season. He finished second at the Young Horse Championships at Osberton as a six-year-old, before placing fifth at the seven-year-old World Championships at Le Lion d'Angers the following year.
In 2021, Dubs received his senior championship call-up when he and Nicola were selected for the FEI Eventing European Championship in Avenches. They took an early lead on the opening day of dressage with a score of 20.9, before dropping to third behind Ingrid Klimke and SAP Hale Bob OLD of Germany and team mates Ros Canter and Allstar B on day two. A thrilling cross-country phase saw them retake pole position, which they carried through the showjumping to take individual gold and help Britain to team gold.
The following year, Dubs and Nicola head to Badminton for the horse's CCI5* debut. A serious fall on the cross-country course saw Nicola unable to continue Dubs' career, so the gelding moved to Tom's yard. Their first run together was in August 2022, before finishing the season with second place at Boekelo CCI4*-L.
In April 2023, Tom and Dubs headed across the pond to contest the Kentucky CCI5*, where they finished in second behind home favourites Tamie Smith and Mai Baum after picking up some time penalties across the country. At CHIO Aachen at the end of June, they were the two-phase leaders heading into cross-country, but an unfortunate run-out saw them drop down the order. The unfortunate run of luck continued – they received a call-up to compete as individuals at the FEI Eventing European Championship later that summer, but sadly parted company on the cross-country course.
Keen to put this behind them, they ended their 2023 season at the Pau CCI5* in France, where they finished in third.
In 2024, they came back fighting. Of their three international runs, they won the CCI4*-S at Kronenberg, and finished second at the Kentucky CCI5* – in a repeat of the year before – and Luhmühlen CCI4*-S. This secured them selection for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where they won team gold and were fourth individually as the highest place pair to finish on their dressage score.
Dubs has had five runs at national and international level so far this season, picking up wins in the Open Intermediate at Poplar Park (March), the CCI4*-S at Thoresby Park (March) and CCI4*-S at Burgham International (July). They also finished second at Upton House in the Open Intermediate in July.

Bubby (who was christened Isabelle) has ridden all her life and was an active member of the Newmarket and Thurlow Pony Club during her childhood.
She was a highly successful youth athlete, including winning team and individual silver at the FEI Eventing Pony European Championship in 2014, team bronze at the FEI Eventing Junior European Championship in 2016, individual gold and team silver at the FEI Eventing Junior European Championship in 2017, and individual silver and team gold at the FEI Eventing Young Rider European Championship in 2019.
Bubby has twice been crowned U25 National Champion – first at Biction in 2021, then at Bramham in 2023.
She made her CCI5* debut in 2021 at Pau with Cola and Cannavaro, and has achieved a number of top-10 results at the level, including fifth at Maryland with Cola in 2024.
In 2023, Bubby won the U25 National Championship at Bramham with Magic Roundabout. Just weeks later, she suffered a serious riding accident while schooling a young horse at home that resulted in her fracturing her spine. After a period of intensive rehabilitation, she returned to riding the following spring and achieved a 10th place finish at Badminton Horse Trials.
Earlier this year, Bubby piloted Its Cooley Time to a win in the CCI4*-L at Bramham Horse Trials, on what was the horse's first attempt at the level.
Bubby holds a degree in sports management in Edinburgh University, which she completed alongside her eventing career by commuting back and forth between the university and her base in Newmarket.

Blenheim will mark Bubby's senior championship debut.
Finn joined Bubby's string as a sharp and quirky five-year-old. He started his eventing career in 2021, with a highlight being a sixth place finish in the Novice at Little Downham.
Their partnership took a knock in August that year, when a freak accident while cross-country schooling together saw Finn land on Bubby in a rotational fall, breaking eight vertebrae and her collarbone. Luckily, all the fractures were stable, so Bubby didn't require surgery and could return to riding relatively quickly.
The first wins came in 2022, at the Novice at Berkshire College and the CCI2*-S at Cornbury in September. This was followed by a seventh place finish at the Young Horse Championships for seven-year-olds at Osberton.
In 2023, they consolidated their form at CCI3* level, culminating in a second place finish on their final run of the season at Hartpury. After a win at the level in Kronenberg in March, Finn made the step up to CCI4*-S at Bramham in June, where they finished eighth, followed by finishing second at Hartpury in July.
The partnership have had six starts at national and international level so far this season, which also saw Finn step up to CCI4*-L level in fine style by winning at Bramham.
