Laura Gulliver

Rider Profile

Name:
Laura Gulliver
Competition Grade:
4

Laura grew up with ponies and had a successful showing career as a child, including competing at Horse of the Year Show. She moved on to dressage and was soon competing on Pony teams, with dreams of following in the footsteps of Charlotte Dujardin.

Having left school at 16, Laura was working as an apprentice for Judy Harvey when she was diagnosed with idiopathic polyarticular rheumatoid arthritis – Judy encouraged her to become classified as a para dressage rider. She took up para dressage in 2013 and made her international debut the following year.

Laura was crowned Grade 4 National Champion in 2019 with Woodcroft Garuda K, a former Grand Prix stallion.
