As the warm days of summer begin to fade, we've taken a moment to look back on a season filled with the very best of equestrian sport. While many eyes have been focused on the FEI European Championships series for senior dressage, eventing, jumping and para dressage, there have been a whole host of really exciting events taking place amongst our member bodies, so let's celebrate some unforgettable performances, brilliant results and the unique partnerships that makes our sport so special.
Hosted by Great Britain, with the finale taking place during the annual JCB Pony Club Championships in Warwickshire, the event brough teams from Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada. It was a tightly fought competition, with the home side coming out on top.
Our newest member body is bringing fresh energy to the federation, with rising stars ready to make their mark.
The event took place in in Skipton, North Yorkshire. Over three days, 26 British athletes battled it out for the honour of winning the British Grassroots Champion & National Champion 2025 titles.
It’s been a packed and successful summer for Endurance GB, with riders and their incredible equine partners taking on challenges at home and across the world.
Taking place at the Country Club Hipic Del Ripolles in Girona region of north-east Spain, this particular category is open to athletes aged between 14 and 21 years old.
The event, which takes place on the beautiful Rushford and Shadwell Estates and this year had a new organiser team, attracted competitors from the UK and abroad.
CEN 160km
CEI3* 140km
Alice Ingram was the sole British competitor in the CEI3* 160km with Best Off Du Vallois (Herbie). They completed the race – their fourth consecutive CEI3* race – in fine style, presenting in under two minutes at each vet check, despite it only being six months since Alice gave birth to her second child.
It was a busy few days for British athlete Rebecca Pinder, who had multiple rides entered at the Jullianges event in south-east France.

CEI3* 160km
Taking place at the Hippodrome de Jullianges the week before, the FEI Endurance Young Horse World Championships was a showcase of up-and-coming equine talent within the sport. The event is open to horses aged eight and features a 120km course over mixed terrain.
For eventing’s young riders and their equine partners, these championships marked an important stage in their competitive journey. It's a chance to step up, showcase their devotion and demonstrate the promising partnerships that will shape the future of the discipline.
The combined championship took place in Strzegom, Poland and featured some of the most talented young athletes currently in the sport. Both teams were under the management of Chef d'Equipe Darrell Scaife.

The event took place in Le Mans, France, with the team under the management of Chef d'Equipe Camilla Kruger. Also there to support the squad were Performance Coach Nicola Wilson, Performance Vet Debbie Jackson and Performance Equine Physiotherapist Annabelle Galt

The carriage driving squads, alongside their remarkable equine teams, took to the championships in style, leaving their mark with a series of impressive achievements.
The squad of six drivers, plus their backsteppers and suppor team, headed to Lähden, Germany for this year's championship under the guidance of Chef d'Equipe Julie Camm. In total, their group comprised 33 people, seven ponies, 10 carriages, four quadbikes, one tramper and three mobility scooters – an incredible feat of logistics!

The pairs driving squad made history in Beekbergen, the Netherlands, under the guidance of Chef d'Equipe David Matthews. This marked the nation’s first team medal at a Horse Pairs World Championships for 28 years, while Roger Campbell's individual silver was the first individual medal for Great Britain at a Horse Pairs World Championships in 42 years.

Congratulations to all the teams who came together for the National Championships, from seasoned players to the newest faces, showcasing their skill and unique teamwork with fellow players and their horses.
The finale of the UK Polocrosse season took place last weekend at Little Bentley Polo Club and saw three days of excitement, entertainment, sportsmanship and truly brilliant horse power.
The proud team at British Horseball Association had an unforgettable week at the European Championships in Le Mans.
The event took place in Le Mans, north-west France and featured a range of youth age categories. Great Britain fielded teams in the U16 and U21 categories.
Under 16s – 4th
Despite narrowly missing out on a podium finish in a nail-biting 4–3 match against Portugal, it was a brilliant overall performance from a team where seven of the eight players were making their British team debut.
Under 21s – 6th
This was a week of big learning moments, huge growth and memories that will last a lifetime. The Under 21s showed their strength, and while the result wasn’t what they hoped for, the foundations for the future of horseball have been well and truly laid.
August saw the championship double-whammy for our British vaulters, who put on captivating performances for the judges, combining athleisicm and artistry for a spectular show.
This year's championships took place in Stadl Paura, Austria, with the British squad under the guidance of Chef d'Equipe Lucy Bell.

Taking place over the same week, the senior competition saw young pair Ursual Levett and Abigail Ward stepping forward to compete as a pair in the pas-de-deux competition.
