Tuesday, 28 July 2026

British Equestrian is delighted to be working with Absolute Equestrian Collective in an ongoing agreement as supplier of Lotus Romeo tailcoats and riding jackets in support of the British Equestrian Teams. The updated contract covers the supply of Lotus Romeo’s bespoke tailored jackets to the senior FEI Championship teams in dressage, eventing, jumping and para dressage at this year’s FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany, through to and including the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.

Lotus Romeo jackets and tailcoats have been proudly worn by British teams since 2022, with every garment being measured and made for the individual athlete – expertly fitted and manufactured with modern material in the registered British Equestrian team patriotic colours of red, white and blue.

Absolute Equestrian Collective, the new outlet created by Claire Buchanan, is the exclusive distributor and sales agent from Lotus Romeo in the UK. With trusted brands handpicked by Claire, Absolute Equestrian Collective provide equipment for performance, comfort and wellbeing – all tried and tested, for all disciplines.

With the definite entry lists recently released for the four disciplines, Claire and her team have started the process of measuring the athletes for their individually fitted jackets ready for Championships in Germany this August.

British Equestrian Performance Director Helen Nicholls commented, “As championship season approaches, it’s great to be working with Claire and her new venture, Absolute Equestrian Collective, on the fit, manufacture and supply of Lotus Romeo jackets and tailcoats. Lotus Romeo is a brand we trust to deliver to support our athletes to perform.”

"We are incredibly proud to have supplied Lotus Romeo competition wear to the British Equestrian teams since 2022. Seeing British riders represent their country in clothing that combines technical innovation, exceptional comfort and elegant design is something we never take for granted. Supporting our athletes on the world stage is a privilege, and we remain committed to providing apparel that helps them look and feel their very best whenever they wear the British flag,” added Claire Buchanan, founder of Absolute Equestrian Collective.
