Wednesday, 06 April 2022

British Equestrian will be opening applications for the 2022–2024 running of its Level 4 Coaching Certificate on Thursday 19 May.

The course, which British Equestrian runs in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire and British Rowing, is a bespoke programme that has been developed specifically for both sports and includes a Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Professional Practice in Sports Coaching. It’s intended for high-performing coaches who have already completed the Level 3 Coaching Certificate, British Horse Society (BHS) Stage 4 Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship or Performance Coach BHSI, Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Advanced Coach, or an equivalent qualification.

On 19 May, British Equestrian and the University of Gloucestershire will be hosting a live online information session for all coaches interested in applying for the Level 4 Coaching certificate. The session will include an overview of the programme, including the academic content and available support, and will run from 10am – 12:30pm.

If you would like to register for the online session, please email by 12pm on Thursday 12 May. Once registered, you’ll received instructions for how to join the session. If you’re unable to attend, but are interested in the programme, a recording will be made available afterwards to anybody who has registered.
