British teams for World Equestrian Festival announced

The iconic CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival kicks off today (27 June – 6 July 2025), bringing together the world’s best equestrian athletes for ten days of top-class sport.
Set in the impressive showgrounds of the Aachen Soers, Germany, the event features five thrilling disciplines - vaulting, showjumping, dressage, driving and eventing.
The following teams will be representing Great Britain at this prestigious international event:
British Vaulting squad

With horses Soul'rings Million Voices and Shannondale Jedi, and lunger Pauline Reidl.

- Ben Maher from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, with the 12-year-old bay mare, Dallas Vegas Batilly, jointly owned by Charlotte Rossetter, Pamela Wright and Ben Maher
- Georgia Tame from Horsham, West Sussex, with the nine-year-old black gelding, BE Golden Lynx, owned by the B.E. Stud
- Robert Whitaker from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with the 12-year-old black stallion, Vermento, jointly owned by Caroline and Stephen Blatchford.
- Adrian Whiteway from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, with the 12-year-old bay stallion, Chacco Volo, owned by Deborah Cox.

- Andrew Gould from Pulborough, West Sussex with Max and Tatiana Skillman's Indigro (black stallion, 2013, Negro x Jazz, KWPN).
- Becky Moody from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with her own and Jo Cooper's Jagerbomb (bay gelding, 2014, Dante Weltino x Jazz, KWPN) (pictured above).
- Susan Pape based in Hemmoor, Germany, with her own and Harmony Sporthorses’ Harmony’s Giulilanta (chestnut mare, 2011, Jazz x Flemmingh, KWPN).

- Bubby Upton from Bury St Edmonds, Ipswich with the 18-year-old gelding Cannavaro owned by Rachel Upton.
- Gemma Stevens from Horsham, West Sussex with the 13-year-old gelding Flash Cooley owned by Pru Dawes.
The team will be accompanied by Chef d’Equipe Sarah Verney.
