British teams in action across Europe for FEI Nations Cup

This promises to be a busy weekend for British athletes, with three FEI Nations Cup fixtures taking place across two disciplines. We’ve rounded up all the essential information…

FEI Jumping Nations Cup

The next leg of the CSIO5* Nations Cup will take place in Rome, Italy between 21–25 May 2025. The following team has been selected to represent Great Britain and British Showjumping under the title sponsor banner of Team Audevard:

  • Scott Brash, from Horsham, West Sussex, with either the 16-year-old bay gelding Hello Jefferson, the 16-year-old bay gelding Hello Senator, or the 11-year-old grey gelding Hello Valentino, all jointly owned by Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham.
  • Ben Maher, from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, with either the nine-year-old bay stallion Corlander, the 11-year-old bay gelding Enjeu de Grisien, or the 11-year-old bay stallion Point Break, all jointly owned by Charlotte Rossetter and Pamela Wright.
  • Robert Murphy, from Preston, Lancashire, with the 10-year-old bay stallion Kannem J.A. Z, owned by Jos Lansink Horses BV.
  • Ellen Whitaker, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, with the 10-year-old bay mare Korlenski, owned by Tilly Shaw.

 The Nations Cup will take place on Friday, 23 May at 14:30 local time (13:30 BST) and the Grand Prix competition will take place on Sunday, 25 May at 12:30 local time (11:30 BST). The Chef d’Equipe for the team will be Di Lampard.

CSIO3* Longines EEF Series Nations Cup

Next stop for the CSIO3* Longines EEF Nations Cup series is Kronenberg in the Netherlands between the 22–25 May 2025 at Peelbergen Equestrian Centre. The following team has been selected to represent Great Britain and British Showjumping under the title sponsor banner of Team Audevard:

  • Millie Allen, from Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland, with the nine-year-old bay gelding Clearround Il Mondo Z, owned by Karel Cox Horses BV.
  • Harry Charles, from Alton, Hampshire, with the nine-year-old bay stallion Kannandillo, owned by Even Stride LLC, or the eight-year-old grey gelding Fighting Phil, owned by Harry Charles
  • Taisie De Gruchy, from St. Ouen, Jersey, with the nine-year-old bay mare La Presley CJS, owned by ZB Holdings LLP.
  • Olli Fletcher, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire, with the 13-year-old bay gelding Hello William, jointly owned by Lady Pauline Kirkham and Lady Pauline Harris
  • Claudia Moore, from Brentwood, Essex, with the 13-year-old bay mare Hardesther, owned by Katrina Moore.

The Nations Cup competition takes place on Friday, 23 May at 15:00 local time (14:00 BST) and the Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, Sunday, 25 May at 14:30 local time (13:30 BST). The Chef d’Equipe for the team will be Matt Lanni.

FEI Eventing Nations Cup

The FEI Eventing Nations Cup series kicks off on British soil this year, following the cancellation of the starting leg at Montelibretti, Italy. British Eventing is pleased to announce the team that have been selected to represent Great Britain at the CCIO4*-S Nations Cup competition at Bicton Arena International (1) in Devon between 22–25 May is as follows:

  • Barnie Brotherton, from Broadway, Worcestershire, with the 10-year-old gelding DHI King Nelson, owned by Naomi Brotherton.
  • Laura Collett, from Salperton, Gloucestershire, with the 16-year-old gelding London 52, owned by herself, Karen Bartlett and Keith Scott. 
  • Selina Milnes, from Clevedon, Somerset, with the 11-year-old gelding Cooley Snapchat, owned by Mr and Mrs William Rucker.
  • Gemma Stevens, from Horsham, West Sussex, with the 10-year-old gelding Chilli King, owned by Christopher and Lisa Stone.

The team will be accompanied by Chef d’Equipe Richard Waygood.
