D&H extend support of British Equestrian to a fifth Games cycle

Thursday, 19 June 2025

Trusted equestrian feed brand D&H has signed a new four-year agreement to continue as British Equestrian’s official supplier of equine nutrition.

This agreement marks their fifth Olympic and Paralympic Games cycle of involvement with Britain’s senior championship teams and British Equestrian World Class Programme.

With a strong reputation for excellence and innovation since 1939, D&H will work closely with the World Class Programme to provide diet analysis, feed testing and nutritional advice for the equine athletes, as well as supporting with the movement of equestrian feedstuffs for championships around the globe up to and including the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Earlier this year, D&H launched a new logo to recognise not only horses but also the premium quality and reputation of the products and much like British Equestrian, the new era for D&H reflects the company’s tradition and heritage but also their ability to be pioneering and innovate. Both organisations are also passionate about providing a world ‘for happy healthy horses’ and recognising each horse’s individuality.

Linda Porter, D&H Managing Director, commented; “We have worked with British Equestrian since 2009 and we are delighted to have extended our nutritional partnership for another four years; incorporating another Championship cycle which will kick off with the FEI European Championships later this year. Both British Equestrian and D&H are committed to delivering excellence in nutrition for happy healthy horses and we work closely with the World Class Programme to provide nutritional support to the country’s leading and up and coming horses and riders. The next four years look set to be yet another exciting chapter for British Equestrian and we are excited to be at the forefront of that.”

D&H and British Equestrian are also aligned on their commitment to sustainability in their activities, with both organisations pledging to become net zero by 2050. Locally sourced ingredients, sustainable material usage, recycling initiatives and environmentally friendly production practices at D&H’s Cheshire base are all helping them towards the target.

British Equestrian Chief Executive Jim Eyre added; “British Equestrian and our World Class Programme are delighted with the news that D&H will once again be a key player as a valued partner. Their loyalty and high standards speak volumes about their values as a brand, as well as their ability to continuously innovate. We look forward to harnessing their expertise and knowledge as we strive for medals at the elite sport end alongside educating and developing awareness across the equestrian community.”
