Royal Patronage continues for British Equestrian

Tuesday, 22 June 2021

British Equestrian is honoured to announce that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to extend her patronage.  With a love of horses since childhood and a keen interest in all things equestrian, The Duchess is ideally placed to head up the organisation.

British Equestrian is just one of over 100 organisations and charities The Duchess supports as Patron or President and the Board of Directors, member bodies and staff are delighted to rank alongside organisations like Barnardo’s, SafeLives, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Brook Hospital for Animals and Ebony Horse Club.

British Equestrian Chairman Malcolm Wharton CBE commented; “We are extremely fortunate that The Duchess of Cornwall has once again agreed to act as our patron.  Completion of this term will mark two decades of support, for which we are extremely grateful to her for.  In those 20 years, we have all seen the equestrian world change considerably and her involvement and patronage mean a great deal to us.  Come July and August, our teams will have no better supporter as they ride for gold in Tokyo than our patron, so thank you to you, Your Royal Highness.”
