My mother used to compete in three-day eventing and, right from being a small child, I enjoyed riding on the horses. I started at my local Pony Club and fell in love with showjumping, but I would complain that the jump-off arenas were “too small”, so we started to do a little bit of dressage to get my pony off my leg and into the corners in order to give me more space to get straight for jumps. This was a success – in fact, I won my Pony Club Area ODE on my 13hh pony, against all the rest on horses. However, I also got caught by the dressage bug, thanks to inspirational lessons first with Claire Moir and later with Jennie Loriston-Clarke, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I enjoy the training and balance this with my love of other sports such as hockey, and also spending time with friends. I love music, especially drum and bass, and one of my favourite ways to relax away from my horses is to go to live music events.

I have been part of British teams since I was 13. First with ponies, when I was on the Nations Cup teams with Grayswood Orlando (team silver in 2015) and also first reserve for the European Championship Team in 2016. I also won Hickstead CDI with Hagelkruis Valentijn. The wonderful Jeff (Walters Fable) took me through Juniors – again, on Nations Cup teams and short-listed for the Europeans team. Tiny Tempur is my Young Rider horse and together we have competed abroad many times, with several podium finishes.
