Clare began her career in the feed industry in 2015 as a multispecies nutritionist, before specialising in equine nutrition. In her current role, she works with leading brands across the UK feed sector, giving her a broad, independent perspective on the products available to World Class Programme athletes.
Clare joined the World Class Programme in 2016 and provides nutritional support for equine athletes through diet review and collaboration with fellow practitioners to provide suitable advice to support performance goals.
Clare is active at an industry level as a member of the BETA Feed Committee, contributing to discussions and decisions on matters affecting the equine feed sector. In addition, she serves on the working group for the newly published BETA ENFAR (Equine Nutrition and Feed Advisors Register), which is a professional register for equine nutritionists and feed advisers.
Originally from southwest Scotland, Clare now lives in Northwest Leicestershire with her partner, Adam. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, weightlifting, and rugby union.
