early equestrian experiences

I was born into the horse world with it being my Mum’s business and profession so I started riding before I could walk. I was part of the Crawley and Horsham Pony Club for many years always doing the summer Camps, PC Champs, PC showjumping and eventing competitions. I also hunted all through pony club years all season with the Crawley and Horsham Hunt, which i absolutely loved.

youth teams

I have been so lucky to have represented Team GB three times so far in my career which is such an honour. My first GB Team was the Junior Europeans at Hartpury in 2022 where we won Team Gold and Individual Silver. It was amazing on home soil! 2023 Montelibretti Junior Europeans Team Silver and Individual 5th, it was my first time competing abroad and that being a Team experience was really special. 2024 Young Rider Europeans in Poland Team Gold and Individual Bronze. It was an amazing week and my first year in Young Riders. All of these amazing experiences have been on Jim Chromiak’s Mexican Law who is a homebred mare of ours, she’s very special!

home life

I’m based at home in Findon, we are lucky to have the house and yard onsite together. We have a barn of stables and a good number of fields to make sure all the horses are turned out as much as possible. We live right on the edge of the South Downs so have miles of off road hacking which we also make the most of! I also have use of big hilly fields and gallops just behind the yard to get the horses fit, we also use them turn out young stock as we like to breed a couple of horses each year. I have an arena and a jumps field (on the side of the hill) to work the horses in on a day to day. I work on the yard as well as ride everyday, I’m lucky to have a good team around me and we all work hard together. We have 15 horses in between Mum & I and we run the business together. I am mainly taught by Mum but also do have some lessons with Pippa Funnel, Ian Woodhead and Alex Hempleman. I would love to get to the top of the sport one day.

The coaching and support that the world class program has to offer is invaluable.
